Job summary

Parkson Corporation is seeking a Pre-Count Inventory Assistant in Trussville, AL for a part-time, temporary role. The position involves counting items, documenting discrepancies, and attaching pre-count cards to product locations. Ability to count small items and handle weights up to 50 lbs is required.

Shifts are 25-30 hours per week with a pay rate of $19.00 to $20.00 hourly. Parkson does not sponsor visas and is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Take inventory location sheets and verify locations of items.
• Pre-counting all items in marked locations.
• Documenting any found or missing items based off location/count sheets.
• Responsible for correctly filling out pre-count inventory card.
• Attaching cards to products in the counted location.
• Understanding the setting and use of calibrated scales to aid in counting high quantities of small parts.

• Pre-counting all items in marked locations.
• Documenting any found or missing items based off location/count sheets.
• Responsible for correctly filling out pre-count inventory card.
• Attaching cards to products in the counted location.
• Understanding the setting and use of calibrated scales to aid in counting high quantities of small parts.
• Ability to count high quantities of small items by hand if necessary.
• Written and verbal communication is a must.
• Strong Math ability is a preference.
• Ability to stand, bend, and pick up items of at least 50 LBS. during the shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Safety Toe shoes are required.
