Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Pre-Construction Team Specialist in Maumee, OH to support planning and preparation of construction projects before field operations. You will coordinate submittals, review contract requirements, and assist with permits and technical submittals, collaborating with project, engineering, estimating, and operations teams.

This role emphasizes detailed documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant construction experience.
• Associate’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience.
• 5+ years field construction or pre-construction experience with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with field construction documentation preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction activities and submittals.
• Review contracts, drawings, and RFPs for complete docs.
• Identify missing information and communicate issues.
• Coordinate permits and regulatory requirements.
• Track and assign pre-construction submittals.
• Prepare submittal registers and schedules.
• Monitor progress and follow up with teams.
• Maintain organized records of submittals and correspondence.
• Develop SOPs for the Pre-Construction Team.
• Attend internal project meetings.
