Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks a Preconstruction professional to lead and coordinate preconstruction activities for commercial construction projects across the Carolinas. You will work with owners, architects, design teams and project managers to develop accurate budgets and schedules from concept through final award.

The role requires strong skills in estimating, budgeting, bid preparation and procurement, with a collaborative, client-focused approach to deliver value engineering and cost

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating/preconstruction with a General Contractor.
• Experience across commercial, healthcare and/or education projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of conceptual estimating, budgeting, bid preparation and subcontractor procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from initial concept through final estimate and contract award.
• Review drawings, specifications and design documents to develop accurate budgets, estimates and project schedules.
• Work closely with owners, architects, design teams and project managers throughout the preconstruction process.
