Job summary

NWU is offering an internship position in Pennsylvania focused on supporting pre-construction activities and collaboration with engineers, PMs, and site leaders from development through active construction.

Interns will learn project controls, participate in safety programs, and engage in social and philanthropic events while shadowing various roles within the organization and preparing a final summary for leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction or Engineering.
• Basic understanding of construction methodologies.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work in environments with heat, noise, dust.
• Self-driven, independent with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist teams in the pre-construction process related to general, mechanical, electrical, and temperature control contractors.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Project Developers on construction projects from development through active construction.
• Learn about project controls and participate in safety programs.
• Shadow various roles within the organization and engage in social, networking, and philanthropic events.
• Prepare and present a summary of your internship experience to SitelogIQ leadership and fellow interns.
