New Dominion Construction, LLC is seeking a Pre-Construction / Business Development Manager to lead pre-construction planning and activities. This role focuses on strategic relationship building, overseeing initial project phases, and supporting client engagement and proposal development.
The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in commercial construction and at least 3 years in business development or pre-construction management. Strong understanding of the drywall industry is preferred.

Lead pre-construction planning and business development activities for the Commercial Drywall Business Unit. This role combines strategic relationship building with oversight of early project phases, supporting client engagement, conceptual budgeting, value engineering, and proposal development.

This role does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.
This role operates in both office and field environments. Regular travel to meet with clients and attend industry events is expected. Office duties include computer-based work and meetings; field visits may involve exposure to active construction sites.

This is a full‑time position, with regular full‑time hours Monday through Friday with occasional after‑hours works and overnight travel based on business needs.
Regular travel throughout the DMV area required. Occasional overnight travel for conferences or key pursuits.
Must be able to get a background check and drug test.
Must be eligible to work in the United States. (Some positions, based on contract stipulations may require U.S. citizenship)
