Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Senior Agent to support the pre-commissioning department in diagnosing and repairing complex equipment and systems. You will build system knowledge from individual equipment to holistic operations, mentoring others and coordinating with engineers and vendors.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, EPA 608 certification, and deep familiarity with hydronic and VRF systems, chiller operation, and safety practices. On-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in pre-commissioning or related fields.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Knowledge of more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Mentorship and hands-on development of junior technicians.
• Safety habits, time management and soft skills development.
• Familiarity with Hydronic, VRF systems and chiller operation.

Responsibilities

• Start up complex equipment and assist all levels of technicians.
• Diagnose and repair complex equipment and systems, including controls and hydronic systems.
• Review submittal documents to verify voltage, amps, HP, and specs match.
• Mentor other employees within or outside the department.
• Occasional overtime to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and OEMs to address issues.

Overview

The Pre-Commissioning Senior Agent is responsible for supporting the pre-commissioning department in the diagnosis and repair of complex equipment and systems. The tasks and duties are building upon individual equipment knowledge to utilize a more holistic system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Startup
  • The individual is responsible for starting up most complex equipment; assisting all levels technicians with complex equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and Repair
  • Examples are Sequence of Operation/Controls/Hydronic Systems/VRV Systems.
  • Support for Operations
  • The individual are working with Engineers, Vendors and OEM's to correct mistakes/errors/changes etc.
  • Facilitates the review of critical documents to generate the pre-commissioning plan with the operations team.
• Review of Submittal Documents
  • This individual is verifying equipment on job and submittal match voltage/amps/HP/etc.
  • Reviews Specifications to match Submittals.
• Mentoring of Other Employees
  • This individual is providing direct mentoring to other employees, either within, or outside of the department.
  • Develops newer talent through direct mentorship of other technicians.
• After Hours Work
  • The individual works overtime on occasion.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• 30 hours of continued education.
• 8+ years' experience.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Knowledge of more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to develop the following skills through mentorship, continuing education and hands-on activity:

Travel Requirements
