Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Pre-Board Screening Officer for Baie-Comeau Airport (YBC) in Pointe-Lebel. You will screen passengers and belongings, enforce aviation security standards, and prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas, on-site at the Baie-Comeau Airport.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean criminal record, and eligibility for the required aviation security clearance (RAIC), with Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers and their personal belongings with rigour, professionalism, and in compliance with national aviation security standards.
• Ensure that no prohibited items gain access to secure areas.
• Manage access to restricted areas consistently and with vigilance.
• Remain alert and respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and violations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats.
• Accurately document and report security-related incidents, violations, and concerns.
