About This Role

This job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card.

Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems within the high voltage transmission and substation electrical industry. Perform duties under the supervision of Project Supervisor, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, demonstrating safe work habits and proper tool care.

This is a pipeline requisition; your application will be considered for future openings.

What You'll Do
  1. Comply with safety requirements (OSHA and company policies).
  2. Report to assigned job sites on time.
  3. Maintain and store tools and equipment properly.
  4. Use tools, equipment, and materials safely.
  5. Organize materials and tools to keep work area clean.
  6. Assist with various job duties as directed.
  7. Install work on wood and steel structures.
  8. Learn job functions quickly.
  9. Install switchgear and terminations.
  10. Install conduit of all sizes efficiently.
  11. Learn to operate equipment (crane, trucks, lifts).
  12. Use hand tools safely and effectively.
  13. Operate lifts safely at heights up to 120 feet.
  14. Read labels, maps, instructions accurately.
  15. Maintain personal tools and equipment as directed.
  16. Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation; CDL required.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  1. Lineman course graduate or equivalent.
  2. High School diploma or G.E.D.
  3. Current active driver’s license.
  4. Class A CDL.
