Job description

We are currently seeking a Pre-Apprentice Electrician in the Rockville, MD, and DC area! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. Some construction experience is preferred.

Position Details:

• Temp to Hire, 4 to 10 months
• Hours: 6am-2pm
• Overtime Available

Job Description:

This role involves classroom training and several months of on-site fieldwork. There is a pay increase after entering the 4-year apprentice program.

Responsibilities include:

• Running conduit
• Bending pipe
• Pulling wire
• Underground work
• Rough-in work
• Fixture installation
• Blue print reading
• Terminations

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass Employment Verification through E-Verify
• Background and drug screening required
• Willingness to travel to other project sites if needed
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on ladders/scaffolding
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must bring your own tools & PPE
• Valid IDs for E-Verify
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
