You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service on light duty vehicles, with progression after UTI training to inspect DOT vehicles and assist Journeyman.

The role supports a Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm schedule (AZ/MST); training shifts may move earlier and relocation of the HQ may occur.

Qualifikationen

• Must be eighteen (18) years or older.
• Must possess a High School diploma or GED prior to the application closing.
• Must have a Manual Transmission Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) OR permit at the time of application.
• If the successful applicant has a CDL Permit, they must obtain a valid Class A CDL for manual transmission with no mechanical restrictions (air brakes) within 45 days of start date.
• Must be enrolled or completed automotive curriculum from an accredited college, vocational technical school, vehicle manufacturer training, or one year suitable work experience in an Automotive / Truck Repair Facility.
• Must live within one hour of the primary duty location.

Aufgaben

• Emergency Jump Starts and related field duties.
• Changing batteries, light bulbs and lenses on vehicles.
• Preparing new vehicles (NVGR) for service.
• Parts pickup and vehicle shuttling.
• Shop clean-up and maintenance.
• Shift work may be required.
