United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a Pre Admissions Nurse for Memorial Hermann Surgery Center, Southwest. The role focuses on coordinating nursing care, compiling assessment data, and formulating a care plan with patients and the care team.

It requires strong communication and team collaboration to ensure quality patient preparation for procedures. The nurse will implement planned interventions, monitor progress toward goals, and document care while addressing age-specific needs

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with patients, families and staff.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nursing care including collection and analysis of assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop a plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify and implement interventions to attain outcomes and monitor progress.
• Document the care process and progress toward outcomes.
• Provide age-specific, culturally competent care for all patient ages.
