Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – Java

Experience: Overall 4-5 Yrs, and relevant 3-4 yrs
Location: Remote Work from our locations. Preference would be Coimbatore, Bangalore and Hyderabad
NP: Immediate to max of 3 weeks

Requirements:

• At least 3 years Java 11 programming experience including Polymorphism, Collections, Thread, Executors, Function package, and multi-threaded applications
• An enthusiasm for technology
• Friendly personality and willingness to work with others
• Strong desire to learn, whether that be from others or through self-learning
• Experience using Linux from the Command Line Interface (CLI)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Desirable:

• Experience in low-latency systems development

Experience with any of the following:

• C#, Julia, BASH
• Debian or Ubuntu Linux
• Jetbrains tools, especially IntelliJ IDEA
• Ion Trading systems, especially Ion MarketView

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Maintain key foundational libraries
• Design, Develop and Maintain software components
• Perform Unit and Integration testing of developed libraries and components
• Troubleshoot problems with Support Team
• Gather requirements from Trading desk
• Interact with external vendor from time to time (status, new features, API, performance, etc)
