About Altais:

At Altais, we’re on a mission to improve the healthcare experience for everyone—starting with the people who deliver it. We believe physicians should spend more time with patients and less time on administrative tasks. Through smarter technology, purpose-built tools, and a team-based model of care, we help doctors do what they do best: care for people.

Altais includes a network of physician-led organizations across California, including Brown & Toland Physicians, Altais Medical Group Riverside, and Family Care Specialists. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected healthcare system.

About the Role
Are you looking to join a fast-growing, dynamic team?

We’re a collaborative, purpose-driven group that’s passionate about transforming healthcare from the inside out. At Altais, we support one another, adapt quickly, and work with integrity as we build a better experience for physicians and their patients.

The Practice Success Technical Solution Advisor is a Hawaii-based role supporting practices in adopting, implementing, and optimizing healthcare technology, including EPIC, Athena, and the Provider Portal. The role combines practice partnership, technical support, data analysis, and change management to improve clinical and operational workflows and support value-based care.

You will focus on:
Technology Implementation & Integration
  • Assess practice needs and recommend technology solutions that integrate with clinical and operational workflows.
  • Support functional and technical implementations, including data migration, software and hardware installation, workflow validation, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Coordinate with Hawaii-based practices, IT, and vendors on platform implementations, integrations, and updates.
Practice Support, Training & Optimization
  • Provide ongoing guidance, troubleshooting, role-specific training, and reference resources for practice teams, providers, and patients following implementation.
  • Coordinate access requests and elevate technical issues through resolution with appropriate teams.
  • Identify workflow gaps, gather user feedback, and prioritize enhancements that improve efficiency, automation, adoption, and long-term practice capabilities.
Data Analysis & Strategic Solutions
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative analyses, including observations, benchmarking, user research, EMR reporting, and market trends, to identify practice needs and opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, feasibility assessments, pricing models, and use cases to recommend and implement solutions aligned with practice priorities.
  • Contribute to product development and care-model innovation, including performance management tools supporting value-based care and incentive systems.
Partnership & Change Management
  • Serve as a trusted partner and coach to Hawaii-based practices, supporting technology adoption and sustainable clinical and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate across practices, IT, vendors, and leadership to translate technology into actionable deliverables and integrate innovative capabilities into care delivery.
  • Tailor communications for practice users through executive leadership and support cross-functional coordination and change adoption.
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of EMR strategy, implementation, and/or optimization experience and minimum of 3 years of solution delivery or management consulting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • External consulting experience in a clinical environment; broad knowledge of multiple EMRs, such as EPIC, Athena, Meditech, Cerner, Allscripts, Nextgen, and Elation.
  • Hands-on support of EPIC, Athena, and/or provider portals, including training, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and IT/vendor coordination.
  • Experience with Alternative Payment Models and Value-Based Purchasing; knowledge of statistical programming, predictive analytics, SQL, Crystal Reports, Python, R, SAS, QlikView, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Visio.
