Job summary

Foundation Psychiatry, P.C. is seeking a Practice Operations Lead in Atlanta to accelerate growth by streamlining clinical operations, hiring, credentialing, and patient access. You will partner with the owner and leadership to implement systems, reduce bottlenecks, and scale services like TMS and SPRAVATO.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech‑savvy, and comfortable leading projects across a healthcare practice, with a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of healthcare operations or practice management experience.
• Strong technical literacy—comfortable learning and deploying new software.
• Familiarity with medical credentialing, insurance prior authorizations for medications and procedures, and EMRs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational improvements across all areas of the practice, including patient flow, scheduling, billing coordination, credentialing, and vendor management.
• Spearhead tech adoption and automation of previously manual processes (e.g., prior authorizations, hiring workflows, insurance enrollment).
• Collaborate with the owner and leadership team to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, especially around hiring and onboarding of new clinical personnel (contractor vs. employee structure analysis).
• Monitor KPIs across operations and propose improvements proactively.
• Manage credentialing and payer enrollment processes quickly and digitally—no pen and paper.
• Oversee implementation and optimization of EMRs (AthenaHealth) and task/project management tools (e.g. Google Suite, calendar and action item management).
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards as compliance ambassador.
• Support scaling of our TMS and SPRAVATO® service lines with operational precision and speed, in conjunction with state-of-the‑art diagnostics and imaging.

We’re looking for a Practice Operations Lead to help us accelerate into our next phase of expansion. This leadership role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces multi-tasking and digital tools, and wants to build the operational backbone of a scaling healthcare practice. You’ll work closely with the practice owner and current leadership team (including our Practice Manager) to streamline newly integrated systems, improve efficiency, and remove bottlenecks across clinical operations, hiring, credentialing, and patient access. Required Qualifications
