Job summary

CMG - CaroMont Gastroenterology & Hepatology in Gastonia, NC, seeks a health care management leader to partner with providers and leadership to drive growth and achieve goals. You will oversee financial performance, revenue cycle, recruitment, patient experience, engagement, service recovery, and quality of care.

The role requires at least 3 years in healthcare management in a supervisory role, a bachelor's in a related field (preferred), and certifications such as CMPE, FACMPE, or FACHE

Qualifications

• Requires three (3) years of healthcare management experience in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health care management, business, or related field strongly preferred.
• Relevant certifications (CMPE, FACMPE, or FACHE) are preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English are required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, internet and email; knowledge of medical terminology is required; medical insurance knowledge required; initiative/problem solving skills are required.
• Strong financial, planning and multiple site management skills preferred.
• EMR and Practice Management system knowledge preferred; must be able to manage and foster a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the practice providers, leadership team, and various departments to create practice operations that drive growth, progress, and achieve goals.
• Oversee financial performance and revenue cycle management.
• Lead employee recruitment and retention, and enhance patient experience.
• Foster employee and provider engagement, service recovery, and quality of care.
• Ensure EMR and Practice Management fluency across the organization.
• Work on system initiatives and help the organization achieve strategic goals.
• Promote a safe and High Reliability Organization (HRO) culture focused on safety for patients, staff, and providers.
