Location & Hours

Location: Susquehanna Family Medicine - Marietta, PA

Hours: 40 hours/week, mostly dayshift (7:30am-6:00pm or 7:30am-5:30pm), rotating evenings (8:00am-8:30pm), rotating Saturdays (7:30am-1:00pm)

Office Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00am-8:00pm; Fri 8:00am-5:30pm; Sat 8:00am-12:00pm

Position Summary

Provide nursing services to patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Responsibilities include patient care, education, procedures, testing, medication administration, care coordination, and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical advice via phone/electronic communication, consulting with providers as needed.
2. Educate patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, medications, and diagnoses.
3. Prepare patients for visits, assist with procedures, and perform point-of-care testing.
4. Collect specimens, prepare for testing, and manage prescriptions and test results.
5. Maintain exam rooms and medical instruments, and ensure a clean and stocked environment.
6. Assist in care plan reviews, follow-up, outreach, and care coordination.
7. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and daily team huddles.
8. Act as a patient experience advocate, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Perform front office duties as needed and participate in on-call responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an LPN or RN educational program.
• Current PA licensure as RN or LPN.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in primary or specialty care, including triage or emergency care.
• Ability to travel regionally to multiple sites.

Credentials

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license as required.
