Location: Norlanco Family Medicine - Elizabethtown, PA

Hours: 3 days per week, hours vary between 7:30am-5:00pm, including:

  • 1 afternoon/evening 12:00pm-8:30pm;
  • 1 half day per week, either 7:30am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-5:00pm;
  • 1 Saturday per month, 7:30am-12:00pm

Summary:

  • Provide nursing services to patients at a provider’s office, including pediatric to geriatric care.
  • Perform clinical advice via phone or electronic correspondence, consulting with providers as needed.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, chronic disease management, medications, and more.
  • Prepare patients for visits, administer injections and medications, and assist with procedures and tests.
  • Collect specimens, prepare them for testing, and manage test tracking.
  • Assist with wound care, maintain exam rooms and equipment, and support care plan reviews.
  • Coordinate referrals, outreach, and care transitions.
  • Participate in performance improvement and daily huddles.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient experience standards.
  • Perform secondary duties like front office responsibilities and regional travel, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an LPN or RN educational program.
  • Current PA licensure as RN or LPN.
  • AHA CPR BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 1-2 years of nursing experience in primary or specialty care.
  • Experience in triage, emergency, cardiac, or ICU nursing preferred.

Credentials:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in PA.
