Join Our Growing Team at FastTrack Veterinary Urgent Care!

We are a new and innovative veterinary urgent care practice in Port St. Lucie, Florida, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for pets in need of urgent medical attention. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Veterinary Practice Manager to help build and lead our practice, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and an exceptional client experience.

At FastTrack Vet, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality urgent care services to pets in need. As a brand-new practice, we are excited to build a positive and collaborative culture where our staff is passionate about delivering compassionate and accessible care. Our newly built facility is equipped with the latest technology to ensure that every patient receives the best treatment possible in a comfortable and efficient environment. Our facility will include equipment such as a brand new Samsung HM70 EVO ultrasound machine, digital radiography, a Tono-vet, multi-monitor/capnography, anesthesia, etc!

Position Overview:
As our Veterinary Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in managing operations, overseeing staff, and driving business success while maintaining a compassionate and client-focused environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the culture and workflow of a brand new urgent care practice!

Your schedule will be flexible week-to-week based on the practice's needs. The expectation will be that you are available in-person at the practice at least 4-5 days per week (7-8 hour shifts), with some of your shifts occasionally on weekend days and some evening hours to support our weekend and evening staff. Some remote work may be available as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of practice, including staff, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with the practice owner on the development and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Manage financial aspects including budgeting, payroll, invoicing, and expense control.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal veterinary regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor inventory and ordering of medical supplies and other office supplies.
  • Handle client relations, addressing concerns, improving customer experience, and ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Overseeing marketing and outreach efforts, including social media and community engagement.

  • Minimum 3+ years of veterinary practice management experience preferred, but not required.
