The Opportunity: As our Practice Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a critical role in optimizing our processes, enhancing patient satisfaction, and supporting our clinical team. Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee all administrative and operational functions of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, inventory management (especially optical products like frames and contact lenses), and facility maintenance.
• Financial Management: Work closely with billing and front office staff to manage revenue cycles, accounts receivable, and ensure accurate and timely claim submissions, especially navigating complex vision insurance plans.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a high-performing team of optometric technicians, opticians, and administrative staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Patient Experience: Implement and refine processes to ensure an outstanding patient experience from appointment scheduling through post-visit care. Address patient concerns and feedback effectively.
• Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for practice growth and efficiency improvements. This includes maximizing optical sales and ensuring proper reimbursement for services.
• Compliance: Ensure the practice adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures.
• Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, including those providing innovative solutions for practice management and revenue optimization.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience (1+ years preferred) as a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or similar leadership role in an optometry practice.
• Strong understanding of optometric operations, including optical dispensing, contact lenses, and vision insurance billing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage finances, human resources, and daily operations.
• Proficiency with practice management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
