Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Practice Manager III - Orthopedics to oversee multiple medical practices across Naperville and Elmhurst. This senior leadership role focuses on strategic planning, operations, staff management, and financial stewardship to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will lead a team of managers, drive growth, ensure compliance, optimize access, and report on performance across locations, with a strong emphasis on patient experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare management.
  • AHA CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the daily operations of a group of medical practices, ensuring consistency and high-quality care across all locations.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a team of practice managers and staff, setting performance expectations, providing mentorship, and ensuring professional development.
  • Assuming responsibility for the financial performance of the practices, including budgeting, revenue management, expense control, and financial planning to optimize profitability.
  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth, enhance patient access, and improve patient care quality across all practice locations.
  • Maintaining a patient-centered approach, addressing patient inquiries and concerns, and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  • Establishing and enforcing quality assurance and compliance measures, ensuring all practices adhere to healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
  • Driving operational efficiency through process improvement, standardized protocols, and the use of healthcare technology to enhance patient care and record-keeping.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply procurement, ensuring practices are well-stocked and resources are used efficiently.
  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on the performance of all practice locations, analyzing financial, operational, and patient care metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers, hospital administration, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and coordinated care delivery across the system.
