Job summary

Texas ENT Specialists in Spring, TX seeks a seasoned healthcare practice manager to lead operations, finance, and staff development across our clinics. You will drive patient access, workflow efficiencies, and data-driven performance metrics in a dynamic ENT practice.

The ideal candidate holds a healthcare administration degree (MBA/MHA preferred), 5–7 years of management experience in high-volume settings, and expertise in EMR systems and BI tools, with a proven track record of team leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration/management required; MBA/MHA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive management experience in a high-volume healthcare environment or private practice.
  • Advanced proficiency with EMR systems and data-driven performance metrics.
  • Experience leading successful teams in a data-rich environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing clinical and administrative team.
  • Cultivate a culture of engagement, and lead monthly staff meetings.
  • Oversee daily workflows and staffing to ensure smooth clinic coverage and patient flow.
  • Own P&L oversight, accounts receivable, and CPT frequency analysis to drive profitability.
  • Partner with MSO to implement growth initiatives and standardize workflows across sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of clinical and administrative staff.
  • Culture Champion: Cultivate a workplace of mutual respect, engagement and high morale; facilitate monthly staff meetings that drive alignment and engagement.
  • Operational Agility: Oversee daily workflows and staffing schedules to ensure seamless clinic coverage and patient flow.
Financial & Operational Excellence
  • P&L Management: Take full ownership of key financial indicators, including P&L oversight, accounts receivable, and CPT frequency analysis.
  • Business Intelligence: Translate monthly financial and management reports into actionable strategies to improve practice profitability.
  • Strategic Scheduling: Analyze and optimize physician schedules to maximize patient access and provider productivity.
  • Partner effectively with management services organization (MSO) to implement / roll out corporate growth initiatives aimed at improving quality and enhancing financial performance of the care centers.
  • Drive standardization to implement consistent workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures across clinical sites.
Compliance & Patient Advocacy
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the practice remains a "center of excellence" by upholding rigorous regulatory compliance and HIPAA-mandated patient confidentiality.
  • Corporate Liaison: Represent the practice at monthly and quarterly regional meetings and maintain a collaborative partnership with the MSO.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Management required; Master’s Degree (MHA/MBA) highly preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: 5–7 years of progressive management experience within a high-volume healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a private practice setting. Advanced proficiency with EMR systems and data-driven performance metrics, including business intelligence software. Experience leading successful teams in a data rich environment.

Physical & Environmental Demands: This role operates in a professional medical office environment and requires the ability to remain mobile throughout the clinic. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly (verbal and written) and utilize standard office technology. Travel between offices within a care center is required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role supervises 10 – 15+ Team Members, Office Supervisors and Managers.
