The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and familiarity with EHR systems. You will coordinate appointments, monitor performance metrics, and pursue growth opportunities while ensuring compliance with healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health admin or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare management experience.
• Strong staff leadership and scheduling abilities.
• Experience with revenue cycle management is a plus; AHA CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of medical practices, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising practice staff, including medical assistants and administrative personnel.
• Managing budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management to meet financial goals.

• Handling patient inquiries and concerns, maintaining high patient satisfaction.
• Implementing quality assurance and compliance measures with healthcare regulations.

Hourly Pay Range

$35.85 - $55.57 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Practice Manager I
• Location: Glenview and Highland Park, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40hrs/week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs, including for coverage purposes (Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals)

What you will do

• Overseeing the daily operations of medical practices, ensuring they run smoothly an efficiently.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising practice staff, including medical assistants, administrative personnel, and support staff.
• Managing the practice's financial aspects, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management, to ensure financial goals are met.
• Coordinating patient appointment scheduling, optimizing patient flow and ensuring timely car
• Handling patient inquiries and concerns, addressing issues and maintaining a high standard of patient satisfaction.
• Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance practice performance, patient access, and growth opportunities.
• Ensuring the effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology for efficient patient care and record-keeping.
• Managing inventory levels and supplies within the practice, ensuring they are adequately stocked and well-maintained.
• Preparing and presenting reports on practice performance, including financial, operational, and patient care metrics.

What you will need

• Bachelors Degree Health Administration Required Or
• Bachelors Degree Business Administration/Management Required
• 2 Years experience in healthcare management, preferably in a medical practice or hospital setting required.
• AHA CPR - American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred
