Job description

Description

We are looking for a Practice Manager I, a hands-on practice leader who can bring together people, patient experience, operational excellence, and business performance.

This is the first formal management level within AlluraMD’s Practice Operations Leadership Pathway and is designed for someone who is ready to move beyond supporting the work to owning the standard, managing the team, and driving the performance of the practice.

The Practice Manager I leads the daily rhythm of the location, holds the team accountable to expectations, ensures an elevated and consistent patient experience, monitors key business and operational metrics, and takes action when performance or standards need attention.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, developing people, solving problems, creating structure, and seeing the direct impact of strong leadership on both the patient experience and the business.

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a high-touch, patient-facing team.
  • You’ll play a direct role in shaping the culture and performance of your practice.
  • You’ll work closely with providers, Operations leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and other practice leaders.
  • You’ll have visibility into the business side of the practice, including KPIs, schedule utilization, retention, revenue performance, and operational controls.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to grow within a defined leadership pathway from Practice Manager I to Practice Manager II and III.
  • You’ll be part of a growing organization where initiative, accountability, thoughtful leadership, and measurable results are valued.

  • Directly manage assigned Patient Experience Coordinators, Senior PECs, and other designated practice-level team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, recognition, and developmental support.
  • Address routine performance, conduct, communication, and accountability concerns promptly and appropriately.
  • Lead team huddles and ensure employees understand both what is expected and why it matters.
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of new and emerging talent.

  • Reinforce a consultative, patient-centered approach to treatments, memberships, wellness services, events, and promotions.

  • Support practice-level execution of new service launches, promotions, events, memberships, and wellness initiatives.
Manage Practice Operations
  • Own day-to-day practice operations, including patient flow, scheduling, provider readiness, opening and closing procedures, and front-office standards.
  • Optimize scheduling and calendar management based on provider availability, patient demand, and practice goals.
  • Ensure accurate execution of CRM workflows, patient follow-up, invoicing, and patient account documentation.
  • Maintain operational readiness through appropriate inventory, supply, and practice controls.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and take action to improve execution.
  • Ensure AlluraMD SOPs and operational standards are understood and consistently followed.
Drive Performance & Accountability
  • Monitor practice performance against established revenue, patient experience, operational, and compliance goals.
  • Manage controllable resources responsibly.
  • Own daily cash reconciliation and required operational reporting.
  • Monitor assigned KPIs, including revenue versus plan, utilization, retention, rebooking, consultation conversion, patient reactivation, reviews, referrals, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
  • Identify performance gaps, assess contributing factors, and implement appropriate corrective action.
  • Communicate risks, barriers, trends, and recommended next steps proactively to Operations leadership.
The Goal of Your Role

Your goal is to create a practice where the patient experience is elevated, the team knows what is expected, the operation runs with consistency, and the business performs because strong leadership is present every day.
