We are seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily business operations and help establish a culture of excellence from the ground up. You’ll play a critical leadership role as we open our doors, build our team, and set the tone for long-term success.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with ownership and veterinary specialists to create a modern, team-oriented workplace focused on exceptional care, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Oversee all daily hospital operations, including HR, scheduling, and team management
Supervise department leads (Nursing, Client Services, Facilities)
Act as the liaison between ownership, staff, and DVMs
Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of non-DVM team members
Foster team morale, resolve conflicts, and support leadership development
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEA, and state veterinary regulations
Track financials, KPIs, and operational metrics for performance reporting
Maintain vendor relationships and manage hospital inventory
Champion exceptional client service standards
Assist with marketing, strategic planning, and future growth initiatives
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or veterinary science (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of veterinary practice management experience, ER/Specialty preferred
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Strong understanding of veterinary operations and cloud-based practice software
High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ability to lead by example
Experience with recruitment, training, scheduling, and compliance
CVPM certification or active pursuit is a plus
High-speed CT scanner with cardiac capabilities
Dedicated ultrasound machines (abdominal & cardiac)
Flexible endoscopy and fluoroscopy units
Advanced surgical suites for minimally invasive, orthopedic, and soft tissue procedures
Integrated ICU and anesthesia systems, including ventilator support
Separate respiratory and GI isolation wards

Starting Salary: $75,000+ based on experience and culture fit

$500 CE allowance annually + in-hospital mentorship from veterinary specialists
