About the Role

We are seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily business operations and help establish a culture of excellence from the ground up. You’ll play a critical leadership role as we open our doors, build our team, and set the tone for long-term success.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with ownership and veterinary specialists to create a modern, team-oriented workplace focused on exceptional care, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily hospital operations, including HR, scheduling, and team management

  • Supervise department leads (Nursing, Client Services, Facilities)

  • Act as the liaison between ownership, staff, and DVMs

  • Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of non-DVM team members

  • Foster team morale, resolve conflicts, and support leadership development

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEA, and state veterinary regulations

  • Track financials, KPIs, and operational metrics for performance reporting

  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage hospital inventory

  • Champion exceptional client service standards

  • Assist with marketing, strategic planning, and future growth initiatives

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or veterinary science (preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years of veterinary practice management experience, ER/Specialty preferred

  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills

  • Strong understanding of veterinary operations and cloud-based practice software

  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ability to lead by example

  • Experience with recruitment, training, scheduling, and compliance

  • CVPM certification or active pursuit is a plus
