Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Practice Manager for the Endocrinology Clinic. This full-time, day schedule role leads clinic operations, directs staff and manages the financial performance of the practice within CMH, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business or at least five years of healthcare leadership experience, with Medical Group experience preferred.

Pay: $31.06 to $43.59

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Responsibilities

The Practice Manager is responsible for providing leadership and administrative management to practice operations. This position includes office-level leadership through planning, developing, and organizing the workflow; directing and evaluating the activities of the practice and of each staff member, managing the financial performance of the practice and promoting the practice within Medical Group, as well as the greater medical community. The Practice Manager is expected to have a working knowledge of all aspects of the clinical operations and be able to fill in when staffing needs demand, with consideration to any licensing requirements.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business or related field or a minimum of five years Healthcare leadership/management experience is required.
2. Medical Group experience preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.06 to $43.59. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
