Job summary

CityVet is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee a vet-led facility, ensuring top-notch client care and efficient staff leadership. The PM will implement CityVet policies, manage finances and clinical operations, and drive continuous improvement across the clinic.

Essential qualifications include safety and regulatory knowledge, with a preference for a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. A high school diploma with experience or a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required.
• High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, onboard, train and supervise facility staff members to ensure their responsibilities and career path opportunities are clear and contributing to the facility’s success.
• Ongoing staff development through professional and clinical training, performance and salary reviews, disciplinary actions as needed to ensure the facility meets CityVet standards.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of daily operations, client care, client service and client records.

Putting people first

The Practice Manager (PM) is responsible for the management of the facility in its entirety, including business management, financial management and overall clinical operations management. It is the Practice Managers job to ensure the highest level of customer experience satisfaction and efficient staff management. It is the job of the Practice Manager to implement and enforce all CityVet policies, standards and procedures.

A day in the life:

• Continuous staff development through professional and clinical training, timely performance and salary reviews, completing disciplinary actions, up to and including termination to ensure the individual and collective success of the facility as outlined in the CityVet brand standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of all daily operations, client care, client service and client records.
