Langley Health Services in Florida is seeking a full-time Practice Manager who is a robust team player. You will oversee clinic operations, ensure HIPAA compliance, coordinate between departments, and support clinicians and staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida LPN/RN license, prefer a Bachelor’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration, have 2+ years of leadership experience, CPR certification, and strong communication. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as LPN or RN with the State of Florida.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration accepted.
• Two (2) or more years of related experience in leadership of health care delivery preferred.
• Patient care related experience for minimum of two (2) years preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Computer proficient.
• Experience in front desk, medical records management and patient advocacy desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Upholds Clinical Standards of PHI
• Ensures effective and efficient communication among and between departments.
• Ensures site follows all clinical processes, policies and practices set forth by PHI and AAAHC standards in order to maintain AAAHC accreditation.
• Attend meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences as needed.
• Maintain a positive professional relationship with all programs, agencies, and intraagency personnel.
• Assist other members of the management team to develop and monitor compliance with the Federally Qualified Health Center grant, especially the health care plan.
• Conduct site meetings and huddles frequently and routinely and participate in interagency, State and Regional networking/meetings in order to facilitate PHI interests.
• Send orders for all office supplies, medications, and medical supplies for West Citrus County sites to designated individual once per week.
• Maintain all VFC requirements, ordering, and logs for assigned site.
• Ensure all clinical records are maintained according to PHI standards and policies, as well as conduct report/case reviews in cooperation with the Chief Clinical Officer and other members of the management team.
• Implementation of Quality Improvement, Risk Management Support and Clinical Care.
• Collaborates with Executive Team, Senior Leadership and staff to facilitate and resolve patient care issues.
• As requested, assist the Chief Clinical Officer with provider monitoring, planning and development and the Chief Financial Officer and Billing Supervisor with billing and insurance assistance.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by members of the Senior Leadership Team
• Works with the Billing Supervisor to ensure that staff uses the correct coding when designating diagnosis or results of procedures used.
• Maintain HIPAA with confidential approach to patient information at all times.
• In the event of staff shortage, covers as PAR, Referrals Coordinator, or Clinical Staff Member to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels and coordinates staffing schedules and coverage to support efficient clinic operations and patient care delivery.
• Assists the Chief Medical Officer with provider monitoring, planning and development.
• Assists the Chief Revenue Integrity Officer, Coding Manager, and Billing Manager with billing and insurance assistance and to ensure that staff uses the correct coding when designating diagnosis or results of procedures used
• Travel to other sites may be required.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Chief Clinical Officer or Director of Clinical Services or other members of the management team.
