  • Provide advanced expertise on deal execution, covering due diligence, valuation, deal terms, financing, negotiation, contracting, and integration
  • Deliver presentations and workshops for one-to-many offerings and one-to-one consulting for large practices
  • Build a comprehensive business toolkit to help advisors operate more effectively
  • Design and deliver interactive workshops for advisors with an emphasis on actionable outcomes
  • Provide specialist expertise to general agencies to strengthen their practice management offerings
  • Support the Business Development team’s practice management coaching programs in a specialist capacity

  • Develop expertise of MassMutual’s advisor platform and resources in relation to center of excellence and spearhead enhancements

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in financial services or, alternatively, in an unrelated field serving small business owners
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-20% of the time
  • Due to the nature of the position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprinted background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Advanced expertise working with advisors on practice acquisitions and succession planning
  • Ability to independently identify, build, and deliver new business resources
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Experience delivering consulting engagements that span both technical factors and interpersonal dynamics
  • Strong presentation skills in both live and virtual formats
