The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient office and over the phone under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Provider.

The LPN will uphold nursing standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and interact with patients, families, and coworkers in a courteous, professional manner, contributing to a positive care environment in Vermont.

Formación

• Current Vermont or compact LPN licensure.
• CPR Certification.
• Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
• Professional appearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, the LPN is responsible for attending to patients nursing needs in the office setting and over the phone under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider. The LPN is responsible for the care and treatment of patients according to the standards of nursing practice. He/she will demonstrate a pleasant disposition to patients, families, and coworkers. Patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• CPR Certification.
• Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
• Professional appearance.
