Practice Lead - Wastewater Technology

Location: REMOTE (preferably near Dallas, TX or a large airport)

The Garver National Wastewater Practice is seeking a Practice Leader in Wastewater Technology with experience in municipal wastewater biological process engineering. This position offers an opportunity to lead and support innovative wastewater treatment projects and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Garver's Water Services teams and clients by providing expertise during wastewater treatment process delivery.
• Lead proposal efforts for projects and research grants related to biological wastewater treatment.
• Support research on advanced biological wastewater treatment and biosolids processing.
• Participate in and promote biological wastewater treatment research funded by organizations like the Water Research Foundation.
• Lead technical committees and present at professional conferences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in municipal wastewater treatment process engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

Preferred Skills:

• Ph.D. in relevant engineering fields with emphasis on biological wastewater treatment.
• Experience with process modeling, operation, troubleshooting, and grant pursuits.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to travel.
