This role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager.Position Summary:The Practice Development Specialist will work directly with members of the Real Estate marketing team and contribute to a broad range of practice-specific business development and marketing initiatives as part of the firm’s global marketing and business development team.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with the Real Estate marketing team, practice leadership, attorneys, and marketing colleagues to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives for the Global Real Estate DepartmentSupports business development plans aligned with department growth objectives, client priorities, market opportunities, and cross-selling initiatives across offices and practicesMonitors real estate industry trends, market developments, client sectors, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for attorney engagement, thought leadership, and client developmentDevelops, updates, and manages marketing resources and practice materials, including practice descriptions, representative matters, experience databases, deal lists, and client-targeting resourcesCoordinates and contributes to proposals, pitches, RFPs, capability statements, presentations, and other client-facing materials that highlight the firm’s real estate experience and differentiatorsSupports attorneys in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and relationship-expansion efforts with clients, prospects, and referral sourcesTracks and organizes significant transactions, client successes, rankings submissions, awards opportunities, and related experience for use in marketing and business development initiativesCoordinates practice group meetings and department calls, prepare agendas, capture action items, and monitor progress on strategic initiativesDrafts, edits, and distributes marketing communications, including client alerts, newsletters, legal updates, speaking engagement materials, award submissions, and other promotional contentAssists with planning and executing client events, conferences, sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and related collateral in collaboration with events, creative services, digital marketing, communications, research, and business development teamsSupports strategic and ad hoc marketing and business development projects as neededQualifications:Skills & CompetenciesStrong client-service orientation and ability to build trusted relationships with attorneys, colleagues, and internal stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing, proofreading, and content-development capabilitiesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailAbility to think strategically while effectively managing day-to-day executionProactive problem solver with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and sound judgmentStrong analytical and research skills, including the ability to synthesize and present market intelligence clearlyCollaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a global teamFlexibility, adaptability, and professionalism when responding to evolving priorities and attorney needsEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor’s degree required;
