An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Practice Coordinator to support both administrative and operational functions within a medical setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of hospitalist services, requiring excellent organizational and communication skills. As a remote position, the coordinator will manage patient records, collaborate with medical staff, and uphold compliance standards. The Practice Coordinator supports and maintains the practice both administratively and operationally. Administratively, this involves supporting the TH Hospital Medicine (THHM) Facility Medical Director, VP of Client Service, Regional Medical Director, and TH HM provider staff, while collaborating with hospital administration to meet all needs. Operationally, the coordinator accurately identifies and accounts for each patient seen by hospitalist physicians, manages medical records, and reports key metrics for dashboards. The role requires meeting productivity standards and target goals as outlined by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: General knowledge of medical records, with at least one year of experience in a hospital or physician office setting, including understanding of patient registration and medical documents. Clerical, reconciliation, and record-keeping skills are essential.
Professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior is essential. Ability to work well with others, resolve conflicts, and respond to feedback is expected.
This remote position requires independent work, adherence to schedules, and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, prolonged sitting or standing, and working with office equipment. Overtime and additional hours may be necessary.
Compensation: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour.
