Job summary

Bupa Dental Care Darlington is looking for a Dental Practice Coordinator to lead the team, coordinate daily operations and enhance patient journeys. You’ll support the practice, uphold standards and work closely with clinicians to maintain compliant, high-quality care.

The role offers opportunities for development within a leading dental provider, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences across NHS and private treatments.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Dental nursing experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the practice team to support high-quality patient care.
• Assist in implementing the Practice Business Plan and its delivery.
• Collaborate with Clinical Team and other departments to ensure compliance with GDC and CQC guidelines.
• Cover reception duties as required.

Practice Coordinator Responsibilities

• Lead the practice team to assist in the provision of dental care services to patients.
• Comply with the Practice Business Plan and assist the manager in its implementation and delivery at the practice.
• Work with the Clinical Team and other internal departments to ensure the practice remains compliant with the General Dental Council and CQC guidelines, to ensure the delivery of first-class patient care
• Reception duties as required

Practice Coordinator Skills And Experience

• Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Previous administrative experience preferably in a dental or other healthcare environment
• Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Dental nursing experience desirable
