Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an organized Patient Service Representative to greet patients, coordinate check-in, scheduling, and billings, and serve as a liaison between patients and care teams. You will handle demographics, co-pay collection, referrals, and help maintain smooth flow in a busy ambulatory setting.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with MS Office, and 1–3 years related experience; healthcare or service environment preferred.

Job Summary: Reports to (one of the following): Practice Manager or Ambulatory Practice Coordinator with input from assigned physician, nurses or other health care providers. Responsible for delivering the highest quality service to patients while contributing to the smooth functioning of practice operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.26 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
