Responsibilities

• The Practice Assistant supports providers with delivering high-quality health care to ambulatory patients.
• Secures patient information and maintains confidentiality of medical records.
• Responds to verbal and electronic information requests; follows policies and provider instructions.
• Maintains safe, secure work environment by following procedures and legal regulations.
• Supports HR compliance processes, including assisting with I-9 forms for Geode employees, and assists with drug screening as needed.

The Practice Assistant serves as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment.
