The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinology physician for our outpatient clinic in Johnstown, PA. The candidate must have an MD or equivalent, be board certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology, and able to obtain an unrestricted PA license. J1 waiver sponsorship is available.

Opportunity Details

1. Clinical position: Outpatient only
2. Assist in building and expanding our existing practice, supported by nurses and certified diabetes educators
3. Be an integral part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology with remote access to educational and CME activities at the Pittsburgh campus
4. The division has a long-standing tradition of excellence and a robust ambulatory practice, serving as the major referral site for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia
5. The staff includes 20 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers, 17 diabetes educators, 4 dieticians, 2 social workers, a clinical psychologist, and 7 endocrine nurses. The division operates across multiple locations in Western Pennsylvania and is poised for growth to provide excellent care for all children
6. Both the Division of Endocrinology and UPMC Children's Hospital are ranked in the Top 10 Honor Roll on U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Children's Hospitals," currently ranked #6 for 2022-23
