Practice Administrator - Primary Care- Columbia

Thrive in this highly visible position overseeing the day-to-day operations of OB-GYN and Pediatric service lines on the Columbia campus - helping align operations within our hospital, Ambulatory Care Network, community, and population health goals. Collaborate with physicians and faculty as you oversee a team including nurses, medical assistants, and patient financial advisors. Establish short- and long-term strategies and business plans to grow the practice through service development/expansion, community outreach, expense reduction, and revenue maximization. Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets. Regularly assess practice performance, and lead quality/process improvement projects.

  • Collaborate with physicians and faculty; supervise a team including nurses, medical assistants, and patient financial advisors.

Qualifications

  • Master\'s degree in an applicable field

  • Experience in government-regulated healthcare environments
  • Understanding of healthcare reform
  • Experience with reimbursement techniques
  • Proficiency with computer applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to direct work, drive change and effectively collaborate

Salary Range

$96,500-$130,500
