The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Practical Nursing Specialist to care for Soldiers and civilians in combat and non-combat settings, under supervision by a physician, nurse, or non-commissioned officer.

Responsibilities include preventive, therapeutic, and emergency nursing care, supervisory duties in a small ward or clinic, and ward operations management in larger hospitals. Applicants must meet age, citizenship, education, screening, and ASVAB requirements.

Qualifications

• Be 17–40 years old.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Submit to background and medical screening.
• Receive a passing score on the ASVAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, therapeutic, and emergency nursing care procedures under the supervision of a physician, nurse, or non-commissioned officer.
• Supervisory care within a small ward, clinic, or unit
• Manage ward/unit operations in large hospitals.
