Qualifications
- Requires Master’s in Nursing or Nursing Education; candidates with a bachelor’s in nursing pursuing a master’s may be considered.
- Current New York State Professional Nursing License is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Strong teaching, clinical, communication, and computer skills are essential.
- Preferred: Doctorate in Nursing or related field; experience with simulation-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning experiences in classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.
- Teach and evaluate students to develop safe, competent nursing practices.
- Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing education.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.
- Support student recruitment, retention, and success.
- Maintain strong relationships with clinical partners.
