CiTi BOCES seeks a Practical Nursing Instructor to guide students through patient care in on-site labs, providing structured feedback and skill development. The role includes lab demonstrations, post-conference reviews, and rotating instruction to maximize hands-on learning.

You will review lab work and assess progress, aligning with the program calendar and graduation timelines. The position reports to Amie Abold and starts 10/26/2026, with application deadline 10/23/2026.

Qualificações

• RN with BSN (or ADN with enrollment in BSN program) and at least one year of nursing experience; medical-surgical preferred.
• Ability to lead hands-on nursing labs and conduct post-conference reviews.
• Familiarity with CiTi BOCES instructional calendar and hours.

CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor to facilitate effective clinical learning experiences by guiding students through patient care, providing feedback, and ensuring skill development through structured conferences and on-site instruction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present and demonstrate basic nursing skills in the lab setting
• Conduct post-conference to review learning, clarify concepts, and reinforce key points
• Rotate among students during the lab experience to:
  • Observe performance
  • Provide instruction
  • Deliver positive, constructive feedback
  • Identify teachable moments and offer timely guidance and support
• Review student lab workbook entries and assess student learning

TIMEFRAME:

While class is in session, students complete 147 clinical hours. Preparation time available prior to the start of the program and while class is not in session. Additional time for review of student performance and collaboration provided. Attendance at graduation is expected.

COMPENSATION:

• Same holiday, winter and spring break schedule as CiTi's K-12 school calendar

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Per the Teacher CBA - $35.00/hour

147 Instructional Lab Hours annually plus time for preparation and grading.

Dual Instructional Role Potential: Successful Lab Instructor candidates may be offered additional opportunities to teach in the clinical setting, providing increased instructional involvement and flexibility within the program. 312 Instructional Clinical Hours plus time for preparation and grading.
