Job summary

Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman, OK seeks a Practical Nursing Instructor to teach classes and supervise students in clinical settings during the 2026-2027 school year. Requirements include a BSN preferred (ADN acceptable with BSN progress), an Oklahoma RN license, and at least three years of clinical nursing experience; teaching experience is favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree (ADN) acceptable, with a requirement to complete a minimum of six (6) credit hours per year toward a BSN and, upon completion of the BSN, pursue a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN).
• A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
• A minimum of three (3) years full-time equivalent practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, within the last five (5) years preceding the first date of first employment; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classes/labs and supervise students in the clinical setting.
• Placement of students on jobs; prepares task analysis; advises students; grades reports, tests, and progress; and advises the supervisor concerning textbooks, special equipment, supplies, or other needs.
• Attends appropriate meetings and participates in overall quality of program and school.
