Position Summary

The Practical Nursing Instructor is responsible for preparing future Licensed Practical Nurses through classroom instruction, skills lab demonstrations, and clinical guidance. This role leverages real-world nursing experience to help students connect nursing theory to practical patient care.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Active and unrestricted Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard technology tools
• Education
  • Candidates must meet one of the following:
    • BSN and willingness to pursue a Master's degree in Nursing or related field within four years of hire
    • Current Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field with BSN
