Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina (NC).
• BSN from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Two years in clinical practice as a registered nurse.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Education (Preferred).
• Experience teaching in a nursing program and NCLEX readiness experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare for, and teach assigned courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide academic advising.
• Supervise and evaluate PN students in clinical activities.
• Maintain records and submit institutional reports in a timely manner.
• Assist in departmental and institutional planning; serve on college committees.
• Promote program evaluation and professional development.

Education

BSN from regionally accredited college or university

Master’s degree in Nursing with Education concentration (Preferred)
