Job summary

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing program beginning in January 2027. The instructor will deliver high-quality instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings to promote student learning and success.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, evaluating, and continuously improving the Practical Nursing curriculum and instructional materials, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to support student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current Kansas RN license required.
• Minimum of two years of paid employment in nursing or in an educational setting.
• Kansas teaching certificate is not required.

• Plan, organize, evaluate, and continuously improve Practical Nursing curriculum and instructional materials.

Salary and Benefits:

• 9-month full-time position with your salary paid over 12 months
• Starting salary: $41,000-$60,000, based on education and experience
• 100% employer-paid employee health insurance

• Opportunity to earn additional compensation by teaching additional courses
