Job summary

Firmani + Associates Inc. offers a paid internship in PR and marketing, intended to mimic an account coordinator role.

You will collaborate with agency and client leaders, building press materials and digital content while conducting competitive and industry research. The four-month, full-time internship is hybrid, requiring two days per week in our Seattle office and the opportunity to work remotely the other days.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and produce quality work.
• BONUS: Internship/work experience, student publications or relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• Craft well-written first drafts of press releases, media pitches, blogs and digital content.
• Conduct editorial, award and speaking opportunity research.
• Monitor and report performance of earned and owned media and digital campaigns.
• Support account executives and managers in communications with clients, gathering information, driving deadlines, participating in meetings, and offering new ideas and activities for client programs.
