Lyric Opera of Chicago is seeking a Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator to support PR, social media, content, and marketing. The role tracks media coverage, manages vendor and artist-manager relationships, and assists with promotional materials for productions and education initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Public Relations, Communications, and Content, the coordinator handles administrative duties in PR, marketing/sales, and promotions, and supports events and campaigns.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, or communications, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in administrative support roles and managing media-related tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Format and distribute all press releases on behalf of Lyric.
• Maintain local, national, and international media lists and the online newsroom.
• Monitor and analyze social media posts to support reporting and engagement.
• Draft and distribute the Lyric News weekly update and summarize key media coverage.
• Coordinate building signage, events, and collaborations with Sales and Front of House teams.
• Assist in coordinating press conferences and photoshoots throughout the season.
