Job summary

Avenue Z, Inc. is seeking a proactive Business Development Associate, PR to expand our public relations business.

You will identify prospective clients and open conversations, working with our PR leadership to move opportunities forward, while building strategic relationships that drive early-stage conversations. Qualifications

Experience in lead generation and building new business opportunities.
Ability to identify potential clients and open conversations with senior stakeholders.
Strong researching, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective PR clients across target industries.
Develop outreach strategies connecting client priorities to Avenue Z’s PR capabilities.
Open doors via email, LinkedIn, referrals, events, and relationships.
Qualify opportunities based on need, timing, budget, and fit.
Schedule discovery conversations for the PR VPs with concise context.
Collaborate with PR leadership to refine target accounts and messaging.
Maintain accurate CRM notes and next steps.
Represent Avenue Z at conferences and industry events.
