The Brandman Agency Inc. is a global communications firm with offices in New York, LA, London, Sydney, Palm Beach and Charleston. We are seeking a PR Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our New York City office.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in PR or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years PR agency experience, preferably in travel, lifestyle, or real estate.
• Residence in the New York City area and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and tools such as Muck Rack, CreatorIQ, etc.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote and Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends and client coverage.
• Screen and fulfill media requests.
• Write pitch letters, press releases and client communiqués.
• Assist in planning and executing events, press trips and media tours; escorting trips as needed.
• Assemble weekly/monthly client status reports.
• Draft and execute personalized media pitches to build a robust coverage pipeline.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and journalists.
• Develop media contacts and knowledge of client businesses.
• Contribute to PR plans and ideation for clients.
• Build relationships with key journalists and new media.
• Demonstrate high-level pitching and strategy in media communications.
• Execute media events, briefings and press trips.
• Delegate and involve junior staff and interns when possible.
• Coordinate research projects using various methods.
• Show knowledge of the digital media landscape and present ideas to client teams.
• Support new business generation from research and ideation.
