Elle Communications in New York seeks an Account Executive to garner media and influencer coverage for all client accounts and to shape strategies that meet KPIs.

You will nurture media relationships, develop thought leadership opportunities, and communicate value to clients while staying ahead of national PR trends. This role emphasizes strategic initiative, collaboration, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of PR experience.
• Ability to showcase strategic results for non-profits, foundations, and social justice initiatives.
• Maintains close relationships with journalists in NYC, as well as nationwide.
• Based near our NY office.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client coverage: Garner meaningful media and influencer coverage for all client accounts. Develop new strategies and execute thought leadership opportunities for clients.
• Showcase and foster media relationships: Build deep media relationships and continue to grow coverage for clients.
• Build new relationships: Seek out new outlets and contacts, including top-tier outlets.
• Team up on creative strategies: Collaborate with the team to craft innovative pitches and thought leadership.
• Communicate value and successes: Clearly articulate client goals and value delivered to the client.
• Keep a pulse on trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends in media, PR, and storytelling.
• Resiliency and initiative: Demonstrate curiosity, resourcefulness, and ownership mentality; adapt to change.
• Manage work: Set clear goals, juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Show Initiative: Proactively identify needs and generate original ideas.
• Integrity: Maintain trust and professional conduct with colleagues and clients.
