Job summary

Hunter, a leading NYC-based PR agency, is seeking an Account Coordinator to support client projects, gather data, and compile reports. You will assist with media relations, social media outreach, and program feasibility research while developing organizational and communication skills.

You will work from our New York offices with a hybrid schedule and travel within the city as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, deadlines, and hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.A. in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or equivalent.
• Up to one year of experience in a public relations or digital agency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support client projects and timelines; assist with media relations and reporting.
• Coordinate and set-up meetings, product shipments, and files.
• Attend client calls and meetings as determined by a supervisor.
• Develop media lists, editorial calendars, and reporter outreach.
• Build relationships with media contacts to secure placements.
